Felicity House

Education/Cultural

Felicity House, a non-profit organization offering community space and education programs for women with Autism, engaged L&K Partners in the relocation of its corporate office and community center located in the Flatiron District.

The property, converted from a former parking garage, presented unique project challenges, and required blending modern installations with the character of the building. Felicity Houses occupies 25,000 sf across three floors of the renovated building, providing ample space for community members and internal staff.

The space consists of various activity areas, including a library, listening room, screening room, art studio, game room, fitness space, and cafe. Taking into account noise and light sensitivity, acoustic wall inserts and drop down shades block nearly all the sound from the New York streets. In addition, the entire space is designed to be ADA accessible for community members with mobility impairments. All entrances, pathways, and facilities are wheelchair accessible. Our team is proud to deliver a safe, welcoming space to support the Felicity House community.
